Diploma In GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) Nursing


The purpose of the General Nursing Programme is to prepare general nurse who will function as member of the health team beginning with competencies for first level position in both hospital and community.
The programme is geared to the health needs of the country, the community and the individual; and it will serve as a basis for advanced study and specialization in nursing; it will serve as basis for advanced study and specialization in Nursing; it will assist nurses in their personal and professional development so that they may make their maximum contribution to the society as individual citizens and nurses.

Course overview
  • Programme Duration: 3 Years & 6 Months covering intensive theory classes, attending towards for observation and supervised practice.
  •  Intake: 60
  •  Admissions available for both Boys & Girls.
  •  Hostel facilities available for both Boys & Girls .
Eligibility Criteria
  • Pass in PUC (10 + 2) with 35% aggregate marks with Science/Arts/Commerce from recognized PU Board
  •  Students shall be medically fit.
  • Admission of students shall be once in an academic year.
  •  Minimum age 17 years, Maximum age 35 years

  • Certificate of passing the qualifying examination.
  • Mark list of 10th, 12th and qualifying examination.
